These Are Our

Lawn Mowing

Why should we mow our lawns, you ask?  First of all,  a well-kept lawn provides a clean, fresh appearance.  Mowing a lawn is crucial to maintaining a healthy lawn, as it allows the grass to grow thicker, blocks out weeds, and makes the grass hardier.

Regular mowing helps eliminate unwanted weeds and encourages denser turf. Mowing too short or scalping results in stress to the grass plant, and weak grass plants take longer to recover. Which is one of the reasons why it is best to hire a professional.

Design & Planting

A well-planned flower bed or perennial border can add tremendous character and beauty to your property.  Anyone one can plant flowers, shrubs or plants, but it takes talent, training, and a lot of hard work to maky your lawn a true work of art.

A perennial border is a style of planting that relies heavily on herbaceous plants, which live for more than two years and are soft-stemmed and non-woody. They are arranged closely together to create a dramatic effect through color, shape, or large scale. Herbaceous plants die back in the autumn and winter to bare earth and regrow each spring.

Tree Trimming

Four reasons for trimming your trees are:  1) Tree Appearance, 2) Landscape Aesthetics,  3) Tree Health and  4) Safety.    Trees that aren’t regularly trimmed can grow to look unbalanced and misshapen.  Densely packed branches can block sun and prevent rain from reaching the grass and flowers below, inhibiting their growth.

Overgrowth negatively affects the health of a tree.  Without trimming, trees can become weaker and will be less likely to survive.  Trees with dead, diseased or infested branches pose a significant risk.  During storms the limbs can fall and damage your property and your home.
